CORAM MAN INDICTED FOR BROAD DAYLIGHT MURDER OF HOMELESS MAN

Joseph Norton, a 20-year-old from Coram, was indicted for the second-degree murder of Timothy Stark, a homeless man, whom he fatally stabbed during a chase across Route 112 in Medford. Norton reportedly chased Stark through heavy traffic, stabbed him in the back, and fled the scene. He was quickly arrested nearby, with a bloodstained knife recovered from his vehicle. Norton is scheduled to appear in court on September 3, 2026, and could face up to life in prison if convicted.
