LINDENHURST COUPLE INDICTED ON ASSAULT AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT CHARGES

A Lindenhurst couple has been indicted for first-degree assault, child endangerment, and related charges after allegedly neglecting two of their four children for years, leading to serious health issues. The youngest child, brought to a doctor in 2024, was found in critical condition due to severe malnutrition and heart failure from a diet lacking essential nutrients. The 9-year-old son was also severely malnourished and in critical condition, having received no medical care since age 2. The couple’s older children received some care but still required treatment for conditions caused by neglect. Both defendants face up to 50 years in prison if convicted and are held on substantial bail.
