LINDENHURST MAN CONVICTED OF MANSLAUGHTER AFTER 2024 FATAL CRASH

Felix Pantaleon, 24, of Lindenhurst, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and related charges for a reckless and speeding crash in September 2024 that killed Reynaldo Collado and injured four others. Driving over 120 mph on the Southern State Parkway, Pantaleon struck another vehicle, causing it to crash into the woods. He recorded himself driving dangerously before the crash. He faces 4 to 12 years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing in October 2026.
