Willie Curry, 38, of Brentwood, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted murder for stabbing his ex-wife over 20 times outside a Bay Shore restaurant in November 2024, just one day after she obtained an order of protection against him. The attack was stopped by witnesses who called 911 and intervened. Curry was arrested at the scene and received the lengthy sentence in September 2026.
