Heather Foster, 50, of West Sayville, was indicted for fleeing two crashes, including hitting a parked vehicle and a jogger, and then hiding her car over four days. The incidents occurred in May 2026, with Foster allegedly causing serious injuries to the jogger and damaging her vehicle. She was tracked via surveillance, moved her car multiple times, and was arrested in May. Foster faces charges including leaving the scene resulting in serious injury, tampering with evidence, and property damage, and could face 1.3 to 4 years in prison if convicted. She is scheduled for court in October.
