Mourning the Loss of Tom Muratore

The Suffolk County PBA mourns the loss of Legislator Tom Muratore. Tom devoted his life to public service, first as a Suffolk County Police Officer, and then as a Union representative where his work and leadership helped to make the Suffolk PBA into a powerful voice for law enforcement. Tom rose to the position of 2nd Vice President and served in that role for 20 years. Even after retiring, Tom felt the call to assist others. In 2009, he was elected to the Suffolk County Legislature where he was an advocate for his constituents and for public safety. We send our deepest condolences to Tom's wife and we thank him on behalf of all those he served.
