Thanks to the quick actions of SCPD Marine Bureau Officers Profit and Mankowski-Hassett, a Holbrook man and his 2-year-old pitbull, Brina, are safe after a late-night scare at Mascot Dock and Marina in Patchogue. The man jumped into the water after Brina, but couldn’t get out. Marine Bureau Officers Kyle Profit and Tyler Mankowski-Hassett responded to the 911 call and rescued both at 3:26 a.m. Thankfully, neither the man nor Brina were injured. Incredible work by these hero officers!
