- Cody B. Fisher, a 29-year-old from Brentwood, has been indicted for Assault on a Police Officer and multiple related offenses after allegedly crashing into a Suffolk County police vehicle while impaired by alcohol and marijuana.

- Freddie Rice, a 34-year-old man from Bay Shore, was indicted for sex trafficking, accused of coercing three women into engaging in sexual acts for money through physical force and drug manipulation.

A 60-year-old man from Connecticut was convicted in Suffolk County for sexually abusing his ex-girlfriend's daughter over a five-year period, starting when the victim was six years old. The abuse, which escalated over time, occurred while the defendant was living with the child's family. It ended when he moved out in 2016. The victim reported the abuse to police in 2021 after confiding in her grandmother. The defendant was found guilty of Course of Sexual Conduct in the First Degree, a Class B violent felony, and is scheduled for sentencing on January 17, 2025, where he faces a potential 25-year prison sentence and will be required to register as a sex offender. The case was handled by Assistant District Attorneys from the Child Abuse and Domestic Violence Bureau, with an investigation by the Suffolk County Police Department's Special Victims Section.
