The victim managed to escape in May 2023, after which she reported the abuse to law enforcement. Johnson faces multiple charges, including sex trafficking and sexual assault, with a potential sentence of 25 years if convicted on the most serious charge. His arraignment took place on December 26, 2024, and his next court appearance is scheduled for January 10, 2025.
