The Suffolk PBA honors the life and legacy of Police Officer Craig L. Capolino, who passed away on January 30, 2013, from 9/11-related cancer. Officer Capolino began his career with the NYPD and responded to the World Trade Center after the collapse of the second tower. Drawing on his expertise in detective work, he searched through the debris for human remains and criminal evidence. In January 2012, he was diagnosed with cancer, and one year later, he lost his battle. Today and always, we keep his wife and three daughters in our thoughts.
