On April 11, 2023, Hernandez, armed with a starter pistol and disguised with a hat, mask, and sunglasses, robbed a laundromat before fleeing in a black Honda. He was apprehended shortly after by police, who found cash, the disguising clothing, and gloves in his vehicle.
Hernandez's conviction includes a Class C violent felony for the robbery, with sentencing scheduled for March 12, 2025, where he faces up to 15 years in prison.
