Travis Austin, 31, of Islip, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for participating in large-scale sales of fentanyl, cocaine, and illegal firearms. He pleaded guilty in August 2025 to charges including drug trafficking and firearm offenses. During the investigation, police found him with five unserialized guns, fentanyl, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. He also arranged the sale of four additional guns. The case was prosecuted by the Suffolk County DA’s office, emphasizing their commitment to removing illegal guns and drugs from the streets.
