Curtis Trent Jr., 36, of Calverton, was indicted for the murder of his mother, Kathleen Harrison Trent. She was fatally stabbed and her body was found wrapped in a blanket in Manorville. The investigation revealed blood evidence linking Trent to the crime, and he allegedly attempted to conceal her body. He was arraigned on charges including second-degree murder and is held without bail. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.
