A 39-year-old man from Bay Shore was convicted of sexual conduct against a child and related charges for abusing his girlfriend’s daughter, starting when the victim was eight years old between 2020 and 2024. The abuse began with grooming and escalated over time. The victim confided in her grandmother and mother in December 2024, leading to police involvement.
