SAINT JAMES MAN INDICTED FOR ALLEGEDLY SELLING AT LEAST A DOZEN ILLEGAL WEAPONS TO UNDERCOVER OFFICER

Bryan Bennett, 36, of Saint James, was indicted for allegedly selling at least a dozen illegal firearms, including assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, to undercover officers between March 2024 and January 2026. He was also found in possession of five illegal guns at the time of his arrest, along with tools and materials used to assemble firearms. Bennett faces multiple charges, including criminal sale and possession of weapons, and could face up to 25 years in prison. He is scheduled for court on May 11, 2026.
