SELDEN MAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSING ENOUGH FENTANYL TO KILL OVER 2.2 MILLION PEOPLE

Phillip Gonzalez, 42, of Selden, was indicted for possessing approximately seven kilograms of dangerous drugs, including enough fentanyl to kill over 2.2 million people. He was also charged with operating as a major drug trafficker and other related crimes after police found large quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, and weapons at his residence. Gonzalez allegedly engaged in drug sales through undercover police interactions. He faces multiple charges, with a potential sentence of 25 years to life in prison, and is scheduled for arraignment on April 6, 2026.
