FARMINGVILLE MAN SENTENCED TO 15 TO 21 YEARS IN PRISON FOR SEX TRAFFICKING

Mitchell Johnson, 38, of Farmingville, was sentenced to 15 to 21 years in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking, where he used violence, deception, and drugs to force a woman into sex acts for profit. The investigation revealed that Johnson lured the victim with a fake identity, supplied her with crack cocaine, and controlled her through threats and violence. He was found guilty in March and sentenced in April 2026. He is also required to register as a sex offender.
