Fabian Delgado, a Bellport tax preparer, was arrested for stealing over $250,000 from an auto repair business by falsifying tax returns and underreporting sales. He used his access to the business’s bank accounts to steal funds meant for paying taxes between 2021 and 2025, spending the money on personal expenses. Delgado faces charges including grand larceny and fraud, and is scheduled for court in June 2026.
