Matthew Sheehy of East Setauket pleaded guilty to charges after causing a multi-vehicle crash on the Long Island Expressway while intoxicated and impaired by drugs. The crash injured four people, including a woman who lost sight in one eye. Sheehy faces 3 to 9 years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing on June 30, 2026.
