WEST BABYLON MAN CONVICTED BY JURY OF SEXUAL ABUSE OF A CHILD

A 29-year-old man from West Babylon was found guilty of sexually abusing a family friend, whom he had repeatedly assaulted when she was between nine and twelve years old. The abuse included inappropriate touching and sharing explicit images during Zoom calls, as well as physical abuse when caring for her at his home. The victim, now twelve, disclosed the abuse in 2024, leading to his arrest. He faces up to 25 years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing in June 2026.
