FOUR DEFENDANTS INDICTED IN PLOT TO FIREBOMB VEHICLE WITH MOLOTOV COCKTAILS

Four individuals, including Salvadoran and Honduran nationals, were indicted for conspiring to firebomb a vehicle with Molotov Cocktails in Suffolk County. Despite evidence of planning and possession of materials, they cannot be held on bail due to New York’s bail reform law, even though they have ties outside the U.S., making them flight risks. The suspects were arrested after police found Molotov Cocktails and related items during a traffic stop. They face charges that could lead to several years in prison, but all were released pending court appearances.
