WYANDANCH MEN INDICTED FOR KIDNAPPING AND ROBBING TAXI DRIVER

James Davender and Antoine Sims, both 20 from Wyandanch, were indicted for kidnapping and robbing a taxi driver during a ride from Queens to Suffolk County. They allegedly terrorized the driver, threatened him with a knife, stole about $60, and fled on foot. Each faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted. Davender was arraigned on May 13 and held on $100,000 bail, while Sims was arraigned on May 29 with bail set at $50,000. They are scheduled back in court in June.
