LONG BEACH MAN INDICTED FOR MURDER OF BELLPORT MOTHER OF THREE

Michael McHenry, a 40-year-old from Long Beach, was indicted for the murder of Juliann Bachmann, a 30-year-old mother of three from Bellport. He allegedly fatally stabbed her during an assault on May 16, 2026. Witnesses reported seeing McHenry attack Bachmann in her car, which was later found bloodstained and with a tactical knife inside. McHenry was arrested at a gas station after law enforcement followed the blood-stained vehicle. He faces up to 25 years to life in prison and was remanded into custody; his next court date is July 17, 2026.
