Lan Huynh Truong, a 45-year-old from Selden, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a fatal accident and driving without a license after striking and killing pedestrian Victoria Hutson. After the crash, he dragged her off the road and fled the scene, where she later died. Truong was arrested after police found blood on his vehicle that matched the victim.
