Brentwood Man Charged with Possessing More Than a Kilo of Cocaine

Luis Rivera, a 67-year-old from Brentwood, was indicted for allegedly running a drug operation out of his home, selling over a kilogram of cocaine to an undercover officer, and possessing firearms and drug paraphernalia. Police seized more than a kilogram of cocaine, cash, and ammunition during a search of his residence in May 2026. Rivera was arraigned on multiple drug charges and is scheduled to appear in court again in July 2026. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
