Passing of SCPD Officer Fadi Rafeh

The Suffolk PBA regrets to announce the loss of one of our best and brightest members, Police Officer Fadi Rafeh. Officer Rafeh was assigned to the 5th precinct and served the citizens of Suffolk County with honor and distinction. A tireless worker and a leader among his peers Officer Rafeh was a constant source of knowledge and helpfulness for other officers. His gentle nature and happy smile was a source of comfort and warmth to all, especially to the victims of crimes he'd assist while performing his duties. Officer Rafeh maintained an active role in the PBA and took great joy in serving others. He prided himself on being a police officer. It's a pride he instilled in his two young sons, Nick and Benjamin who loved their daddy, the policeman.
Officer Rafeh passed away unexpectedly from an unknown cause. He is survived by his wife Jennifer and children, Nicholas who is five years old, and Benjamin who is three. All PBA members who wish to donate to Officer Rafeh's family may do so through their delegates and trustee. A Go Fund Me benefiting the Rafeh family has been set up for anyone else wishing to donate.
