PBA Responds to Discrimination Against a Child

Back The Blue!
Recently, the six-year-old son of Suffolk County Police Dispatcher was denied service by a local ice cream truck because of the SCPD K9 shirt his mother was wearing.
In response to this hateful act of discrimination, the Suffolk PBA and the @suffolkajs hosted a Back the Blue BBQ in the child's honor, complete with food, video games, and a dedicated ice cream truck.
Thank you to @metrocadeny and BBQ Brethren for donating their services and bringing smiles to children regardless of their race, color, or parent's occupation.
