Shot, stabbed, battered but never broken. These men represent the courage and resilience of Suffolk County Police Officers.
Officer Mark Collins, Detective Nick Guerrero, and Detective Christopher Racioppo each suffered life-threatening injuries in separate incidents while protecting Suffolk County residents.
Today they joined Doctor James Vosswinkle (who is credited with helping save each of their lives) in giving a hero's welcome to Officer Timothy Thrane as he leaves Stonybrook for the first time since he was run down.
