a 34-year-old man, Nick Shakalis, was rescued by Suffolk County Police Officers after his kayak capsized in Narrow Bay. Shakalis, who was not wearing a personal flotation device, was transported via helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of hypothermia. A great job by all!
