Marine Bureau Officers to the Rescue!

On Tuesday afternoon, Marine Bureau Officers were called to rescue a clam boat that became stuck in the ice near Smith Point Bridge in Shirley. The officers used their boat to break up the ice and towed the boat with one person aboard to shore, safely. Luckily, no one was injured. Great work by the responding officers for preventing a tragedy from occurring!
