Raising of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Flag

The Suffolk County PBA, along with County Executive Ed Romaine, raised the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial flag at the Dennison Building today. The occasion marked the addition of 282 officers killed in the line of duty to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC. Two of our own, Officer Robert Kirwan and Chief Thomas Compitello, were included among the honorees, who lost their lives due to 9/11-related cancer. May they rest in peace.
