Dolores Mancialandaverde, a 28-year-old man from Medford, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash. The incident occurred on June 8, 2024, when Mancialandaverde, driving with a suspended license, crashed his vehicle into a tractor trailer, resulting in the death of his back-seat passenger, Hedilberto Nava-Perez, 44, and serious injuries to a front-seat passenger. After the crash, Mancialandaverde fled on foot instead of assisting the victims. He was charged with multiple offenses, including leaving the scene of an incident without reporting. He faces a potential prison sentence of two to six years, with a sentencing hearing scheduled for January 8, 2025. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Jeffrey Rosenheck.
