Daniel White, a 30-year-old resident of Main Street in Irvington, was arrested after a joint investigation by local and state police into drug sales in the Rivertowns. He faces multiple felony charges, including third-degree criminal possession of psilocybin mushrooms and cocaine, fourth-degree possession of ketamine, and three counts of third-degree criminal sale of controlled substances like MDMA. Despite the serious charges and the removal of drugs from the affluent community, White was released without bail due to New York's 2019 bail reform law, which eliminates cash bail for most misdemeanors and non-violent felonies. The Irvington police praised the efforts of the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force in apprehending White and addressing drug activity in the area.
