A 23-year-old man from Brentwood was sentenced to 20 years in prison for raping and sexually abusing his girlfriend, as well as stealing her electronic devices to prevent her from calling for help. The incident occurred in April 2024, when he physically assaulted her, sexually assaulted her despite her pleas, and took her devices. He was convicted in March 2025 of multiple charges, including first-degree rape and sexual assault, and theft. In May 2025, he was sentenced and ordered to register as a sex offender and serve 15 years of post-release supervision.
