MEDFORD MAN CHARGED WITH SELLING ILLEGAL FIREARMS

Daniel Probeck, 35, of Medford, was indicted for illegally selling and possessing firearms, including assault rifles, at his residence. The investigation, which began in March 2025, uncovered over 112 illegal firearms, 67 suppressors, 12 3D printers, ammunition, and gun manufacturing tools—marking the largest ghost gun seizure in Suffolk County history. Probeck allegedly sold firearms to an undercover officer and manufactured un-serialized guns for profit. He was arrested on June 12, 2025, and arraigned on multiple serious charges, facing up to 25 years in prison if convicted. He is scheduled to return to court in August 2025.
