FARMINGVILLE MAN INDICTED FOR WEAPONS POSSESSION AND ASSAULT OF POLICE OFFICERS

Kyri Law, an 18-year-old from Farmingville, was indicted for possessing a loaded, unserialized handgun and for leading police on an 8-mile high-speed chase that injured three officers. The incident began when law enforcement responded to Law’s apartment regarding an illegal firearm. Law allegedly rammed a police vehicle, fled, threw the weapon out of his car during the chase, and caused additional injuries in a crash. He faces multiple charges, including weapons possession and assault, and is held on bail. Law’s case is scheduled for court on October 23, 2025.
