DARK WEB DRUG DEALER “MAMAKNOWSBROWN” CONVICTED IN FELONY NARCOTICS DISTRIBUTION CASE

Carolyn Tolin, 46, of Centereach, pleaded guilty to federal charges of possessing and operating a large-scale narcotics business run from her home, primarily using the dark web under the name "MamaKnowsBrown." Between September 2024 and March 2025, she sold over $75,000 worth of fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine to customers nationwide, using USPS, UPS, and Uber for shipping and accepting cryptocurrency payments. Tolin included overdose warning cards with her shipments, alerting users to the drugs’ dangers. Law enforcement executed a search warrant in March 2025, uncovering significant quantities of drugs, packaging materials, and digital equipment. She faces up to 15 years in prison and will be sentenced on January 8, 2025.
