Public workers are the life blood of New York. They protect our streets, teach our children and provide all the other vital services many take for granted. In return for their service and sacrifice, public workers expect a fair retirement. Managing the over 250 billion dollars in the NYS Pension fund is no easy task. Thomas P. DiNapoli has always been a careful steward of these funds. He's resisted efforts from activists, politicians and charlatans who would utilize these funds for their own ends to the detriment of workers. Instead, Tom makes sure the funds will be there for today's retirees and tomorrow's. We thank him!
