Matthew Mitchell, 20, of Brooklyn, pleaded guilty to assaulting a 19-year-old woman during illegal car stunts in October 2024. He struck her with his vehicle while performing dangerous maneuvers at a gathering in Suffolk County, causing serious injuries. Mitchell was arrested after social media posts led police to him and is expected to be sentenced to two years in jail. The case highlights the dangers of street takeovers and reckless driving.
