UNITED STATES POSTAL WORKER ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING ITEMS FROM THE MAIL

Jovanni Jamison-Lewis, a 35-year-old postal worker from Mastic Beach, was arrested for stealing items from mail at the Oakdale Post Office. She allegedly took two envelopes containing a gift card and lottery tickets, used the stolen gift card at T.J. Maxx, and was caught with stolen mail in her possession. Jamison-Lewis resigned from the USPS after her arrest and faces multiple charges, including grand larceny and misconduct. She was released without bail and is scheduled to return to court in January 2026.
