KINGS PARK MAN INDICTED FOR ROBBERY AND GRAND LARCENY CHARGES

Brian Blackford, 51, of Kings Park, was indicted for robbing two Flagstar bank branches in Suffolk County, stealing over $4,000. He was charged with multiple crimes, including Robbery in the Third Degree and Grand Larceny. Blackford allegedly threatened tellers with notes during the robberies on December 8 and 10, 2025. He was arrested hours after the second robbery, found with cocaine, over $2,700 in cash, and a note demanding $10,000. He faces up to 7 years in prison if convicted and is scheduled for court on January 27, 2026.
