WADING RIVER ATTORNEY ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING FUNDS FROM REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION

Peter Giattino, a Wading River attorney, was arrested and arraigned for allegedly stealing $751,687 from a client involved in a property purchase. He is accused of withdrawing the funds through checks, ATM transactions, and cash, and using some of the money at casinos. Giattino's actions led to the cancellation of the real estate deal, and he allegedly failed to return the money after the client hired new counsel. He faces charges of Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, a felony, and is scheduled for court proceedings.
