Jeremy Allen, 44, of East Quogue, was convicted by a jury of first-degree murder and evidence tampering for torturing and killing his longtime friend, Christopher Hahn. The crime occurred on September 27, 2024, after Allen brutally assaulted Hahn for about 18 minutes, then used a plastic bag over his head, and ultimately stabbed him 10 times in the neck, leading to Hahn’s death six hours after the torture began.
