On behalf of the Suffolk PBA, we extend our deepest condolences to the Nassau County PBA, the Nassau County Police Department, and the family of Police Officer Patricia Espinosa following this heartbreaking loss. Officer Espinosa’s life was tragically taken in a crash caused by an alleged impaired driver, and her death is a stark reminder of the dangers officers face every day—both on and off duty. She was part of a true law-enforcement family. We mourn with our Nassau brothers and sisters and are deeply saddened by this tragic loss
