Thanks to the quick response of a Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct officer, two burglars who tried to victimize an elderly Nesconset man are being held accountable for their actions.
An 88 year-old man called his grandson on the evening of August 9 and told him he heard someone in his Gibbs Pond Road home. The man’s grandson called 911 and Police Officer Daniel Naglieri responded and observed two people leaving the home. After interviewing the pair, Officer Naglieri determined they were the people who were in the man’s home and arrested them.
The two, Caesar Powell and Tara Barton, both of Rocky Point, were charged with Burglary 2nd Degree.
