- Retail Protection Partnership
- A Selden man, 68, has been found guilty by a jury of multiple counts of sexual abuse against three of his children over a 13-year period, from 1997 to 2010.
- Richard L. Wolffe, Jr., a 39-year-old man from Bay Shore, New York, was indicted for possessing over 5,000 images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children, some as young as infants.
- The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office has appointed Assistant District Attorney Stephanie Dellinger as the New York State Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor.
- Brian Cordovano, a 50-year-old man from Ronkonkoma, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the double homicide of Ian Saalfield and Robert Julian in April 2022
- A 33-year-old man from Copiague has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for the rape of his 9-year-old stepdaughter.
- Juan Chuquimarca Guzman, a 20-year-old from Shelter Island, has been indicted for promoting and possessing child sexual abuse material after allegedly uploading over 4,000 videos and images of such content to a cloud service
- Willie Curry, a 36-year-old man from Brentwood, has been indicted on charges of attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his ex-wife more than 20 times in a McDonald’s drive-thru on November 2, 2024
- Benjamin Sheen-Waltzer, a 32-year-old man from Southampton, has been indicted for leaving the scene of a crash that resulted in the death of 67-year-old Angel Asitimbay from Hampton Bays.
- Richard L. Wolffe, Jr., a 39-year-old from Bay Shore, has been indicted on multiple counts of possessing child sexual abuse material.

Even police officers love story time! Officer Tom DeLena recently visited the reading program at Tri Community and Youth Agency in Huntington and read to a very enthusiastic group of young people.

He brought along coloring books and police stickers to pass out to the children, who learned when to call 911, the purpose of the lights and sirens, and what it's like to be a police officer. Officer Claudia Delgado stopped by to say hello as well!
