Joshua Guzman, a 30-year-old man from East Patchogue, New York, has been indicted for selling carfentanil that allegedly resulted in a fatal overdose of a 27-year-old victim. This indictment comes while Guzman already faces other drug charges, pending in court.

The incident took place as the victim was entering the funeral home, during which Funderburke and an accomplice threatened him with a knife, demanding money.

Matthew Sheehy, a 47-year-old man from East Setauket, has been indicted for causing a serious three-vehicle crash that injured four people, including one woman who lost her eyesight in one eye.

Two men, Randy Woods and Dwayne Jones, were sentenced to prison for their roles in stealing tires and rims from 114 vehicles in Suffolk County, New York. Tierney, announced that 16-year-old Randell Hollman has been sentenced to three to nine years in prison for a home-invasion rape that took place in Mastic Beach. Hollman, who was 14 at the time of the crime, broke into a home and sexually assaulted a 23-year-old mother in front of her four-year-old child.

Jeffrey Edsall, 52, sentenced to 3-6 years in prison for vehicular assault in Suffolk County. These defendants are accused of setting fires at PSEG stations to cause power outages, so they could burglarize local businesses.
