On April 18th, 2023, The Suffolk County PBA proudly presented our Recording Secretary, Carl Glaser, the William J. Lindsay Exemplary Service Award. Carl has always shown unwavering support and commitment to Police Officers and their families here in Suffolk County.
This award is named in honor of former Suffolk County Legislator and Presiding Officer William J. Lindsay. Presiding Officer Lindsay, a former union member and union leader, supported the Suffolk PBA and its members during some of our darkest and most difficult times. Unfortunately, Presiding Officer Lindsay left us far too soon, from cancer, in September 2013. We were honored to have Bill's son, William J. Lindsay III, assist in presenting the William J. Lindsay Award to Carl Glaser.
