Today, the Suffolk County PBA and many other officers from various Police Departments across NYS gathered in Albany at the State of New York Police Officers Memorial to honor all police officers from New York State who have sacrificed their lives in the performance of their duty. With sorrows, we remembered 55 fallen officers today, and the memorial now recognizes 1,772 men and women from 150 police departments, sheriff’s offices, and federal agencies. May we Never Forget their memory as they gave the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the safety of our communities.
