Excellent work by 7th Precinct Officers Thompson and Draude, who rescued a sheep that was found tied to a tree earlier yesterday in East Moriches. Around noon, a land surveyor was in an East Moriches wooded area behind a vacant home on Evergreen Avenue when he made the discovery and immediately called the authorities to help. The officers assisted veterinarian Dr. Benjamin Haar in providing emergency care to the sheep, who is expected to recover fully! Again, an incredible job by all involved!
